Hyperfi is an electrical clearance superstore, specialising in new, graded and ex-demonstration equipment. We sell a wide range of goods ranging from top of the range plasma screens to good quality basic microwave ovens.
We pride ourselves on both our friendly service and competitive prices. Our team is available at any time (during opening hours) to help and advise you on your purchase and are only too happy to help.

Payment

For security reasons please note that instore we do not have any cash payment facilities but can accept all major credit or debit cards.  Cash payments can be accepted at our local bank but only during normal bank trading hours.
 

Recycling

As an eco friendly company we participate in the WEEE Regulations:

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment.  The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK. Recycling reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill. 

We are obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us. Customers must return their like-for-like WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item. Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol and be disposed of separately from normal household waste.

What Are Graded Products?

As you may have noticed from our site, some of the products we sell are sold as 'A-Grade' or 'Graded'. In basic terms this means that the products are ones which have been sent back to the manufacturer at some time, been checked and recartoned. There is a number of reasons why the items are sent back to the manufacturer and many times it is due to the box that the item comes in being damaged. Therefore most of the units themselves should be in perfect condition being sold as graded in 'tatty' boxes. You still receive the same one year warranty with graded products that you would with new sealed cartons, however the prices are much lower.

What Are Ex Demonstration Products?

Unlike graded products the majority of ex demonstration (ex display) products will carry some form of physical mark or scratch. Ex demonstration products are items that have been used for display or demonstration purposes within shops or at shows etc. Again the working functions on the units should be fine, but on many there are visible marks on the side and front panels of the units. Some may also be missing some of the accessories (e.g. instruction manual). The price of the ex display products reflects the nature of the products and on many occassions it is a good way to pick up a fantastic product at a bargain price. Obviously stocks on ex display items is out of our control so please ring our sales team to check stocks (number shown above).
