The CD5003 CD player is the entry-level player in Marantz’s acclaimed range of CD players. However, it has already made a fantastic name for itself. The CD5003 employs high-quality audio components such as the well-known CS4392 digital-to-analogue converter, Marantz’s own HDAM SA2, and a dependable CD transport mechanism, deliver high musicality.

The rigid chassis and solid metal front panel provide a rock-solid base. The CD5003 is feature-packed too: an Audio EX(clusive) mode even further excels sound quality with the Switch Off function for pitch control, digital output and the display itself. It also plays CD-R and CD-RW, MP3 and WMA discs and displays CD-Text information such as artist name and track titles.

The Auto Music Scan (AMS) quickly finds the music on the disc and the Quick Replay enables to repeat favourite passages. The pitch control allows adjustment of the playback speed and a choice of coaxial or optical digital outputs combined with the high-grade gold-plated analogue out guarantees the best connectivity. A well-defined headphone output and supplied remote control completes the picture of this excellent player.
