Get surrounded
Adding a subwoofer takes the system to 3.1 compatibility, but adding additional rear speakers takes the system to 5.1 – full fat surround sound. You can use HEOS 1, 3, 5 or 7 speakers as rears, giving you complete flexibility. Once added, you’ll enjoy fully immersive sound that wraps itself around you.

High-Resolution audio compatible
As well as offering an intense movie experience, the Denon DHT-S716H is also compatible with High-Resolution Audio. This offers a sound that's far more natural sounding than standard audio. It supports a wide range of Hi-Res format files including DSD (2.8/5.6MHz), FLAC, ALAC and WAV. It even supports gapless playback for music free from glitches.

Voice control via Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri devices
For the simplest operation, Denon has ensured the DHT-S716H is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri devices. Simply download the HEOS Home Entertainment Skill app and then just ask Alexa or the Google Assistant to perform functions such as volume and source selection. Using the Apple Home App, Siri voice control from your Apple iOS device brings added functionality over AirPlay 2 – including grouping devices.

HEOS built-in - for the finest multi-room audio
HEOS multi-room music systems connect together by dual-band wi-fi, making them easy to set up with your existing home network. Up to 32 HEOS units can be set up at one time, ensuring even the largest of homes are covered for multi-room music. With HEOS already built-in, the DHT-S716H is ready to go as a single 'zone' without any further adaptors.

Control it all with the HEOS app
Once you've set up your HEOS speaker system, you can stream music effortlessly via the dedicated HEOS app. Available for Apple iOS, Android and Amazon Kindle, the app not only lets you stream your stored music but also Internet radio services and popular streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, Napster and Deezer.

Bluetooth, AirPlay 2 and built-in wi-fi for the complete networking experience
With both Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 connectivity it's easy to connect all your smartphones, tablets and compatible lap/desktops and stream music wirelessly. The Denon also comes with wi-fi and Internet radio. Simply connect to your home network via Ethernet or wi-fi and access thousands of Internet radio sites as well as subscription services such as Spotify Connect (Premium Spotify account required), Tidal, Amazon Music and Deezer.

All the connections you need
Matching its high performance audio and smart tech, the DHT-S716H also comes complete with a socket interface to match the best. Four HMDI inputs means that’s it’s not just your TV that enjoys a sound boost, but also your Blu-ray player, games console, TV and set-top box, too. For sources without HDMI, optical and coaxial digital inputs are standard, as is a 3.5mm analogue input. You can even play your stored music file, via the USB interface.
