Rotel Michi S5 Stereo Power Amplifier - Product Description

The Michi S5 power amp features a class leading linear amplifier delivering 500 watts per channel of Class AB amplification into 8 Ohms, and 800W into 4 Ohms. With a dual monoblock design, the Michi S5 processes the left and right channels independently to preserve the details and dynamics in the music. Two twin custom engineered oversized toroidal transformers, manufactured in-house, power the amplifier, while being individually damped in epoxy-filled enclosures to eliminate noise and vibration. This combines with four British patented bulk storage capacitors for a total of 188,000µF for exceptional current flow and allowing the details to be heard in the music, along with bass energy with precision and control. The large current flow helps to ensure timing and rhythmical accuracy despite any difficult loads.

The Class AB amplifier provides high power with efficiency, with high quality components, circuit design and sonic tuning. With both RCA and balanced XLR inputs, the Rotel Michi S5 can connect easily to any pre-amplifier, and features 5-way rhodium plated binding posts. An elegant all-black design completes the look of the Michi S5, along with a front panel colour display. The included remote allows for easy control and system integration is simple with RS232 and Ethernet connections.
