Rotel RKB-D850 Eight Channel Amplifier

This new range consists of four Class D amplifiers, all of which come in two 8-channel configurations, possessing 50 watts channel and 100 watts per channel with all channels being driven at the same time. The RKB-850 contains analogue-only input functionality, while it's big brother, the RKB-D850 features both digital and analogue inputs.

The RKB850 and RKB-D850 have been rated at 8 x 50 watts RMS into 8ohms all channels are driven, and double that output into 4 ohms as a result of the intricacy and sophistication of their efficient Class D design. These amplifiers are highly durable and extremely reliable. Rotel has gone the extra mile in building a product that truly maximises its long-service life, featuring dual thermostatically controlled fans to alleviate heat from the output models and the power supply.

Both of the 50-watt channel models of the new RKB range feature input linking, through input A on the rear panel unit, to allow the analogue (and digital in the case of the RKB-D850) signal on input A to be routed to all three other channels. This saves time and the need for additional wiring. Analogue Input A can also be used to reproduce a mono signal, allowing to channels of summed stereo-to-mono output.
